Thanks for reporting. Hopefully this is just a setup.py-level version range issue, and not an actual compatibility problem. I'll have a look.

Looks like it is.
I was able to successfully backup and restore a test system earlier today, after changing the ruamel.yaml requirement from <0.16.0 to <=0.16.0.

Anyways, thx for looking into this !
