What I'm trying to do and why
I'd like to mount a whole repository, which is possible with borgbackup.
If I understand correctly, borgmatic only allows mounting single archives, right ?
Btw, I'm really happy that the mount capability got finally merged !
I didn't even know a whole-repository mount was possible. Makes sense as a borgmatic feature.. Thanks for bringing it up!
Oh, and I'm especially interested in the
-o versions
mount option, please make it available when implementing. Thanks !Borg's
-o versions
is actually already available viaborgmatic mount --options versions
! Refer to the help for all currently implemented flags.ok - it just makes sense when mounting a whole repo though.
Got it, that's helpful context! I was wondering when that option would be useful.
Released in borgmatic 1.4.18. The
--archive
flag toborgmatic mount
is now optional! Enjoy, and thanks again for suggesting it.
