Got it. I could probably just use sanoid's hooks to run borgmatic manually, in that case. Oh, well. Thanks for looking into this!

Sorry for the confusion! I meant that I would use borgmatic's snapshots instead of sanoid! So perhaps the following could be implemented instead?

  1. A "safety" precaution, I guess? Making sure that nothing changes while taking the backup, essentially, just in case.
